British Mortlake Brown Saltglaze Stoneware Silver Mounted Tankard C. 1800-1820

British Mortlake Brown Saltglaze Stoneware Silver Mounted Tankard C. Sprigs of trees, Toby, men on barrels, and a windmill above hunt sprigs. Silver rim with engraved fleur de lys and name Simon Cuf.

The metal has no hallmarks, but is probably silver. Has some dents, there a small split to the rim where one of the dents is, and tarnish to the silver rim, and there are some chips related to the stacking on the bottom of the tankard. Measures approximately 6 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 6 1/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
